Hey, gals.. Juz to update u something: 1) Denise is flying off soon to Cambodia to do mission work.. Pls cont. to keep her in prayer ya. 2) Hannah is sick.. Fever, cough, etc... Do pray for her that God will heal her and can sms her to comfort and show concern to her.. I don't think it's nice to call her now she lost her voice temporary, I think. So juz sms her and most importantly.. PRAY! 3) There will be ministry booths tour on Sat (24/7/2010) which is today after teenz service and it's during cg time. Hence, there will b no cg today.. Pls come early ya.. If can, pls do try to come at 2.30pm for de pre-prayer service. Teenz service will start at 3pm as usual. We'll visit de booths tgt. Will end arnd 6.30pm. Pls do pray and ask God which ministry to join (For those who not yet get into any ministries). 4) Next Sat (31/7/2010), there will be an eng gals combine cg which contain of Sin Loong, Stella and Wen Jiuan's cg.. Hi there girls, Chareessa here.
Have just got back for a week or so.
Got my results then I got sick.
My first week of my final semester's been great.
I mean there are new lecturers and new subjects as well.
Currently I'm trying to evangelise to my course of director.
I have been talking to her about Christ for a couple of times already and she seems to be quite open about it, like she didn't zap me or anything.
Please pray for wisdom whenever I step into her office.
Please pray for clarity of mind and God's wisdom because she is quite analytical, which makes things double hard.
Will update you girls more next time kay?

but not sure yet coz dengue will have fever n muscle pain...

Its Maria all! :D (ps- I end up being called Maria cause I did the cleaning and serving. XD) Anyways Denise asked me to post my experience during the camp. So I guess I'll post it~ The camp was quite tiring and really "mah fan" cause they thought I register last minute. Though the sermon and workshop was really fun and enjoyable. They all did say that this camp is to focus on God and not other stuff, we dint pay rm220 to sms or meet good looking guys. But I have to admit lah, there were some good looking- *AHEM* guys there. out of topic so for our 2nd day of sermon, Pastor James prayed for me. I cant really remember whats the word you call when you fall. So lets just call it fall. XD anyways when pastor James asked us to go out if we needed a prayer. I was standing next to Jasmine. my face was looking down though and I heard her sobbing. I kinda felt touched and was thinking why am I not crying? But once they said, Put all your problems and pain onto Jesus, then lots of stuff came into my mind about my family problems. Then I could't stop crying. When I turned over to Jamine, I noticed she had flu lol. So I can kinda pai seh. XD but still, after what pastor james prayed for me and fell, when I woke up, I felt like I could fly~ Though the next workshop, We would ask to hear from God and probably visions too. Well I got nothing. But I did still cry when they played the song "Above All" Church camp was fun though. :) hope I could come for next year's. ps, thanks for listening about my story during cell group. :D Signing off: Bell~

Title: TEENz Vision 1) TEENz= Teenagers Evangelize and Edify Nationz In short: Teenagers impact the world. 2) Our Responses 6 kinds of responses: a) I really don't know (Psa 32 :8) b) God's will is LOST - God is playing hide and seek - Pray also no use c) I don't want to know because I'm afraid (Rom 8:32) - God sure demands too much - Demand me to do things that I don't like d) I want to do part of God's will and ignore the rest - I want to impact the world but don't want to pay the price - I want to se my friends get save, but I don't want to share gospel eg: stepping on the gas pedal and applying the brake e) I want to decide whether or not - I want to "test drive" God's will - Test God's will whether suitable for my appetite * These are the dangerous responses f) I want to obey God's will - I want to obey God's will no matter what - I want to obey God's will no matter how much I know eg: God has a plan for Israel - Moses leaded the Israelites out of Egypt, to the border of Canaan Land - Sent out 12 spies such as Joshua, Caleb, etc... Three stages of choosing Friends.
1. Based on where we live (our location)
2. Based on what we like (personality traits&hobby)
3. Based on what you believe

Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?
- we're easily influence by friends.
- friends are also will determine what we want.
- will shed by friends.
- influence the friends,influence by friends.
- ask JESUS,who is my neighbour(friends)??
LOVE YOU FRIENDS AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF.

rethink about your friends. Chose friends like Samaritans =]
Be true friends to another.

Three type of friendships ( Luke 10:25-37 )
1.Priest - if i help you, i'll be affected. therefore i better not to help you.
2.Levites - come over and take a look. better not to help you and just pretend to be your friend.
3.Samaritans - A friend who will commit to you!

Eight marks of a true friends
- True friend is bond to what the bible believes in friendship.
- Concern for other people not just for themselves.
- Tells you what you need to hear.
- Cares about your need,not just out of a need for your acceptance.
- Someone that gives godly counsel.
- Trustworthy.
- Treat you with respect.
- Someone that helps you fulfil your destiny.

Conclusion:
The point of the day is not about having friends.We should start moving from having friends to being friendly.
To be people that is inclusive out of genuine spirit of love.
True friends not just read other people blog,then believe what the people say..
True friends is not easily trust others.
True friends is trustworthy.
Chose friends wisely,friends are important.
Show me your friends,then i will show you your future.
True friends will still care you..even with just an sms..

hihi...sch has juz started not long ago but sports day is coming soon...i got choosen to run ,long distance,n long jump...counted as an athelics la...so now almost everyday got traning...we muz run d field about dunno how many times every time traning some more do sit up ,push up,back up n lotz of weird stuff la...so tired lo...some times still need 2 go morning 4 training even i afternoon session...haiz...so kesian..some times here pain there pain...leg la...thigh la...n others la...juz help me pray tat i wont get sick or injuries lo...coz i having slight flu n cough scared will led into fever...thks god bless u gals..

combined cellgroup SANDWICH DAY!

last saturday we had combined cellgroup. all the 3 groups got together to have sandwich day.sin loong's group prepared shredded chicken fillling. stella's group prepared tuna filling. and our group prepared egg filling.

some of them went over to jasmine's house to do the filling but it didnt get to go :( so i dont know what happened there. who went over to jasmine's house do blog about what happened over there. as i'm very sure it was fun and if there were any pics do put it up.

we started everything with ice breaker. we played master and slave. it is actually the same as whacko. was fun. as some people werent paying attnetion and had to be 'punished' for it. but we didnt play that for long coz didnt have time. after that we played a game stella planned out. *i'm just going to take it from their blog as she has typed it out so nicely*

A No-Brainer Game: Nobody Can Play Sports as Well as The Cell Leaders

we had to all divide ourselves into 4 teams. the leaders were a separate team on their own. so all together there were 5 teams.

Event 1: High Jump (Tip toe - the tallest representative wins)
Event 2: Long Jump (The player that jumps the furthest wins)
Event 3: Javelin (The one who can draw the longest line using a pen with one finger wins)

after that we had a cheering event.

wen jiuan and abigail representing the leaders team. it was SO unlike them to do so lil. coz they're the ones that are super gaem for anything de. but it was really interesting.

sarah and amy representing team 1. i guess you'll know the song as zhan mei chou *my han yu pin yin is horrid so i dont know if it is correct or not*. they being the pro dancers really gave a nice performance.

charlene and zoe representing team 2. they danced to the banana song. and i'm sure it was hazel's idea to do it. though they werent too keen on doing it they still did it well.

dot and me representing team 3. i tell you i totally thank God dot is so creative! if you had asked me to think everything up on my own it would be the most boring thing you've seen in your whole life. i think it was ok. but i know i had fun :]

overall i think everyone had fun. forgot to take pics of the food before it was 'devoured' by everyone. when everyone had taken their share and was full. a few of us sat at the table just eating out of the tupperwares. so un-ladylike but whatever. we had our bonding time.

to those that are going for yong thai and jacquline's wedding. do remember that the ceremony starts at 9.45am at the sanctuary. michelle asks everyone to come in a dress. so those that dont have or havent worn one in ages, it is time for you to wear or get one. haha. joking only la. if you dont have a dress then dress nicely is fine. dont have to purposely get a dress. but if yo're looing for an excuse to get one then it is a good excuse. LOLz.

combined cell on 20 September

this is a super belated post. finally i've gotten the pics from stella. but not all la. so not that many pics. we played tanks. we divided ourselves into 2 teams. team 1 and team 2. in wach team it was a mixture of stella and wen jiuan's group. each group had to choose a person to be blind folded and that person will be that tank. on the floor was balls of newspaper. the 'tanks' had to follow the instructions of their team members to get the 'balls' and shoot it at the other 'tank'. teach team had 5 'lives'. which ever team reached 5 first lost. so team 1's tanks were joanne chian chui yuen and me. team 2's tanks were hannah, eunice, hwee hua, tiffany and charlene. team 1 won!

it was a fun game and everyone enjoyed themselves.

we had thus in cell group yesterday. big apple donuts. i really dont understand why people just queue up and wait so long just to buy them. but so happen me, wenjiuan and michelle were having lunch there before TEENz and as we were going back michelle wanted to get donuts. there wasnt a long queue so we bought it. so we had yummy yummy food during cell group yesterday. dont know what flavour was there la. i know the pink one is strawberry, the yellow is mango, middle row from left is green tea, kiwi, alien and oreo. top row i think is some knida cappucino, dont know what but it is some kinda chocalate, chocolate and white chocolate.

next week is the last week of manners emphasis month. do try to come coz it will be so fun. see you girls next saturday.

cellgroup last saturday only had 7 people. the 4 leaders and 3 members. can be considered rather little coz we would usually have at least 10 people. some didnt turn up coz of school replacement and the rest i dont know. if you people cant come and dont message, you can leave a tag *when the tagbox comes back* or leave a comment. i'll try my best to check it on friday night. then that way i'll know who wont be turning up.

those that didnt come missed out ALOT. coz our dear 'mummy' was telling her story. very interesting you know :)
